Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve patient accounts by contacting third-party payors and patients

Maintain productivity goals while documenting account actions and statuses

Assist in special projects and communicate findings to management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
