Job Title : HR and Payroll Specialist (Contract)

Compensation : $37 / hour

About the Role :

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR and Payroll Specialist to support our client's team during a critical period of open enrollment and payroll processing. This is a short-term contract role ideal for someone with strong Paylocity experience and a solid background in multi-state HR and payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees across multiple states using Paylocity
• Support open enrollment activities including employee communications, benefits administration, and system updates
• Assist with general HR functions such as onboarding, employee record maintenance, and compliance tracking
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
