HiFyve is hiring a Shop Technician in the construction industry in Forest Lake, MN!
Salary : $35–$45 / hr
Shift : 1st
Location : On-site, Forest Lake, MN!
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment in a shop environment
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system maintenance and repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure equipment meets operational standards
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and verify completed repairs
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery and components following OEM specifications
- Perform basic welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed
- Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and work orders accurately
- Complete all service documentation and reports in a timely manner
- Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow all workplace safety and OSHA compliance standards
