Rolling Stock Sales Manager

At Baschmann Services , we specialize in the sale, rental, and product support of construction and aggregate equipment. We are seeking a driven and experienced Rolling Stock Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales team, drive growth, and build lasting relationships across our markets. This is a leadership opportunity to play a key role in shaping sales strategies, achieving ambitious goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction while being part of a company with a proven reputation for excellence.

Pay Range : $90,000 - $130,000 (Depending on experience) Plus opportunity for bonuses based on performance

Job Type : Full-time

Benefits : We offer competitive pay, 401k with Company match, health insurance with a portion covered by Baschmann Services, dental insurance, paid time off, six company holidays and New York State paid sick leave. Auto allowance and Company cell phone

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Establish and achieve sales & rental goals, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and key accounts.
  • Oversee sales strategies, pricing, quoting and customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with parts and service teams to make sure customer deadlines are met.
  • Develop new business opportunities and expand market share in sales & rental.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to support sales initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to adjust strategies.
  • Provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to leadership.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through excellent service and follow-up.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in equipment, construction, or related industry sales.
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience managing sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment, applications, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Results-oriented with strong business acumen.
