PCC is seeking a creative, solutions-oriented collaborator to join our growing team during a major multi-year Workday Student implementation project.
This is a temporary project position, through September 30, 2027.
What You'll Do and Who We Are Looking For
This position is temporary - with a current target end date of 9 / 30 / 2027
We are looking for someone who is experienced with data validation, configuration testing, business process testing and project management to represent and support our business needs during the institutional migration to a new enterprise resource planning system (ERP). Reporting directly to the Student Project Manager, this position interacts with others at all levels of the organization and enjoys constant variety and challenge. We're looking for a seasoned higher ed professional who models best practices in testing methodology and technical project management. If you are an enthusiastic contributor who enjoys being in the middle of important work, wants to help shape organizational change, and is interested in serving as a key contributor to strategic deployment of College systems in support of institutional priorities, this is the position for you. This position is remote with occasional required on-campus meetings.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Business, Finance or related field. Three (3) years progressively responsible, professional experience in project / program management, including working with analytics, and translating metrics, research, and trends into strategy. One (1) year of lead or supervisory experience.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in any field AND five (5) years progressively responsible, professional experience in project / program management, including working with analytics, and translating metrics, research, and trends into strategy. One (1) year of lead or supervisory experience.
OR
Seven (7) years progressively responsible, professional experience in project / program management, including working with analytics, and translating metrics, research, and trends into strategy. One (1) year of lead or supervisory experience.
Success criteria :
Experience managing planning and execution of data validation, configuration validation, and business process testing activities for an ERP implementation
Experience supporting a Student Information System
Experience with managing an aggressive project timeline, completing project deliverables, creating process documentation, driving decisions, and identifying project risks
Responsibilities :
Manages planning and execution of data validation, configuration validation, and business process testing activities.
Oversees test scenario development, tracking, scheduling, defect tracking and retesting on behalf of the PCC project leads in Admissions, Advising, Curriculum, Financial Aid, Student Records, Student Accounts Receivable, AA / SA Application Systems & Support, and Information Technology
Accountable to implement best practices in testing methodology and maintain weekly test / defect dashboards
Collaborates with implementation partner Alchemy to monitor and continuously adapt the testing plan and schedule
Responsible for managing an aggressive timeline, accountable for completing project deliverables, creating process documentation, driving decisions, and identifying project risks.
Responsible for ad hoc supplemental project management to assist with addressing challenges related to system adoption, conducting business analysis, implementation planning, developing customized reports for operational tracking, providing data for decision-making and risk monitoring.

How We Determine Initial Salary Placement
The initial salary placement typically is between the minimum ($85,646) to the range midpoint ($104,917). Placement will generally not exceed the mid-point, based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
