Salary : $85,000- $100,000 DOE and License Type
At Hotel California by the Sea-Bellevue, we provide the greater Seattle area with a gender-specific, comprehensive dual-diagnosis day treatment, outpatient program, and detox services, modeled off of our incredibly successful flagship program in Newport Beach, CA.
It is our goal to equip our clients with the proper skill sets, tools, and knowledge necessary to live healthy, active, sober lifestyles in and after treatment with us. At HCBTS, we set our clients up for success by providing them everything they need so that they can thrive in their recovery as well as in their everyday life.
We are now seeking a qualified RN or LPN to lead our team at our detox facility in Bellevue, WA!
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for completing and documenting the nursing care provided and the clients condition / status, including but not limited to : initial nursing screening, nurse progress notes, client health questionnaire, suicide risk screening, nutritional risk screening, TB (PPD) screening, and other professional documentation in HCBTSs EMR system (KIPU) in a timely and professional manner within your scope of practice
- Observe, screen, and document Client progress and updates to the Clients status, including but not limited to the following as observed and / or reported : symptoms, reactions, behaviors, vital signs, withdrawal, pain, cravings, physical health conditions / problems, client statements / thoughts / feelings, medication compliance / response, appetite / meals, sleep, personal hygiene, and changes in the clients condition
- Observe, screen / assess, and document Client vital signs and withdrawal management screenings (CIWA / COWS) as appropriate and within your scope of practice
- Complete, monitor, and document client observation rounds in the environment of care
- Perform nursing tasks in accordance with the Physician / MDs instructions and protocols
- Communicate and coordinate with other HCBTS team members and departments to provide for an interdisciplinary approach to the provision of care
- Complete compliance reports and provide support and assistance in the development and improvement of healthcare policies and procedures
- Participate in the continuous quality management and performance improvement process. Responsible for performing tasks and assignments in support of this process when requested and as appropriate
- When requested, provide assistance and / or input for the hiring of staff
- Appropriately supervise / manage the performance and completion of work duties and responsibilities for the HCBTS staff that you directly supervise / manage
- Oversee, monitor, and appropriately assign specific work tasks to the HCBTS staff that you directly supervise / manage
- Evaluate the work performance and complete competency assessments for the HCBTS staff that you directly supervise / manage
- Comply with the Supervisor / Manager duties, responsibilities, policies and procedures set forth in the HCBTS Employee Handbook
Required Skills and Experience :
Prior Work Experience : Providing licensed nursing care to individuals with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and / or co-occurring disorders or conditions.Prior Work Experience : Supervising / managing licensed nurses and / or licensed healthcare professionalsDemonstrated knowledge and ability to care for clients with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and physical health problems or conditions within your scope of practiceGood leadership and managerial / supervisory skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsible, reliable, respectful, and team-focused mindset. Excellent work ethic and interpersonal skillsGood time management and organizational skillsVery good de-escalation skills and crisis prevention / intervention skills. Good conflict-resolution skillsFamiliarity with basic detox protocols and proceduresAbility to build rapport with clients as well as staff membersStrong commitment to serving clients struggling with chemical dependencyRequired Licenses / Certifications :
