Pay : $16.66 per hour + tips

Trapper's Sushi is looking to grow our team by adding a new Host / Cashier!

As one of the Pacific Northwest's most desired dining establishments, our mission is to learn our customers' names and provide the best service and food possible-leaving our guests with a craving to come back for more!

Host / Cashiers are the first point of contact for our guests. For this role, organizational and people skills are essential in ensuring our guests have the best dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. A positive attitude and commitment to creating a memorable experience for every Trapper's Sushi guest is key.

Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome guests as they enter the restaurant

Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists

Facilitate to-go orders by phone and ensure customers receive correct items

Answer incoming calls and address customers' questions

Escort customers to assigned dining / bar areas, provide menus, announce server's name

Coordinate and assist wait staff as needed

Maintain a clean reception area

Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly)

Greet customers upon their departure

Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values

Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience as a Host / Hostess or Food Server preferred

Understanding of restaurant etiquette

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure

High school diploma; hospitality certification a plus

Washington State Food Worker Card required before first day of work

Physical Demands

Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds

Stand for extended periods, walk, reach, lift, twist, crouch throughout shift
