About the Role We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team in Grand Blanc, MI. Under the direction of a Radiologist, this role specializes in performing invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to support the evaluation and treatment of complex pathological conditions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in interventional radiology (IR) procedures and a strong understanding of sterile technique and imaging protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain examination steps
  • Review clinical data, assess anatomical structures, and assist Radiologist during invasive procedures
  • Set up and operate sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging systems
  • Prepare and administer contrast media, medications, and IV solutions
  • Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
  • Perform manual control of imaging equipment to capture diagnostic-quality images
  • Ensure availability and proper storage of supplies and replenish as needed
  • Resolve PACS image exceptions and complete RIS documentation for clinical and billing accuracy
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
  • Support training of new staff and students as needed
  • Demonstrate consistent professionalism, communication, and patient-centered care

    • Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology with hands-on scrubbing in procedures
  • ARRT certification with advanced registry in one of the following :

    • Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI)

  • Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI)
  • Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV)
  • BLS certification (Healthcare Provider level)

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS certification
  • Experience with IR lab workflows, emergent cases, embolization, and neuro interventions
  • Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment and CT spin functionality
