POW!, Power Of We!

We are an emerging nonprofit organization that provides free enrichment programs to children of all abilities, backgrounds and ages.

We are in search of volunteers who would love to become a 1 : 1 coach for participants with ASD.

These could be kids who are non- verbal and or use their voice and or body as a communication tool; it could be kids who know some sign language- but avoid eye contact, ....there are tons of facets.

As we focus on practical inclusion, we want to ensure that the individual you take under your wings will gradually feel more comfortable in social settings - and vice versa, our POW! community learns through you and your expertise how to approach and interact.

We see this as a challenging position and greatly appreciate your courage and dedication to help❣️

We respond to a noticeable need of movement amongst kids as fostering a sense of inclusion and belonging and developing social skills.

Most families are available on Saturdays, 10 AM - 1 / 2 PM, so this is our primary focus.

This would be a long-term position. We would love you to become part of our community!
