Weekend Day Shift Sanitation Worker
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our sanitation department, responsible for cleaning and maintaining machinery across various shifts. This role requires the ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery parts for thorough cleaning. A mechanical aptitude is essential, and experience with lockout / tagout procedures is highly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with heights and using cleaning chemicals with strong odors.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Sanitation : Clean production areas and equipment using chemicals and tools, including high places, while wearing proper PPE. Follow dry-cleaning procedures and ensure equipment is properly disassembled, cleaned, sanitized, and reassembled.
- Inspection & Compliance : Conduct visual inspections and chemical concentration checks to verify sanitation effectiveness. Perform and document pre-operational equipment inspections.
- Safety & Procedures : Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO, GMPs, and food safety standards. Prepare equipment for cleaning using proper lockout / tagout procedures.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain records of chemical usage, sanitation tasks, and inspection findings. Support incident investigations and audit responses.
- Training & Collaboration : Train team members on sanitation procedures and work collaboratively to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Inventory & Coordination : Monitor cleaning supply inventory and coordinate sanitation and pest control resources.
- Operational Skills : Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) with certification, perform basic math, and work independently in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.65 - $18.15 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
