Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our clinical team. Under direct supervision, the Radiation Therapist is responsible for accurately administering radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. This role is critical in ensuring precise treatment delivery to targeted tumor volumes, while upholding the highest standards of safety and care.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically competent, and committed to supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. This position also supports the US Oncology Compliance Program, including adherence to the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments accurately under supervision.

Input and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record system.

Support clinical instruction and onboarding of new therapists and students.

Assist with managing patient appointment schedules and submitting accurate billing data.

Cut treatment blocks and create custom molds as needed.

Complete simple monitor unit (mu) calculations.

Interpret computerized treatment plans with precision.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.

Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy.

Valid state licensure for radiation therapy (required).

Previous clinical experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.

Physical Demands :

Regular use of hands and fingers; occasional standing, walking, and reaching.

Must occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.

Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing.

Work Environment :

Clinical setting with exposure to radiation therapy equipment.
