We are looking for a proven winner who is ready to help expand our business, promote our brand, and sell our solutions by understanding client and project needs and aligning on mutually beneficial solutions. Our business success relies on this role, and we are looking for a winner ready to join our team, embrace accountability, and deliver results.
As a catalyst for our Construction Cleaning Division, you will roll up your sleeves and lead the charge for securing new projects to expand our business, both for the short and long term. You will identify and qualify opportunities, craft winning proposals for our customers, and expand our business in current and new markets. You will be empowered to manage your portfolio of customers who are looking for a trade partner to successfully clean their diverse projects. You will also be the key contributor to the continued refinement and improvement of our effectiveness, strategies, customer relations, and new business acquisition processes.
Compensation : $26 - $32 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and grow accounts and cultivate strong client relationships
- Review all Invitation to Bid documents and Scope documents to identify and fully understand customer needs prior to preparing proposals
- Decode architectural plans, extracting vital information for accurate proposals
- Prepare and submit accurate and competitive proposals prior to bid deadlines
- Conduct prompt and effective follow-ups to get feedback on proposals and secure deals
- Perform initial review of contract to ensure scope and pricing match proposal before handing off the job
- Maintain meticulous records in the CRM and filing systems
- Utilize sales data and metrics, and leverage the team and resources available to operate at peak performance
- Understand the unique nuances of different clients and proposal delivery methods to maximize effectiveness
- Manage workload adeptly to ensure timely proposal submissions
- Attend job walks, customer meetings, and networking events as required
- Proactively seek out new leads and opportunities
- Rapidly internalize our sales process, service offerings, and proposal skills
- Quickly become an expert in our solutions and value proposition for construction final cleaning
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications : Required
Proven winner in construction estimating with exceptional customer serviceDetail-focused self-starter who is highly organized and able to get things done effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skillsExpert proficiency in mathematics and Excel, and highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite2 years of Construction Estimating experienceHandle multiple projects concurrently, ranging from all levels of complexityExperience reading building plan setsComfortable conducting client calls and scope review meetingsRelentless in working the phone and follow-up processes to win jobsEfficient and effective in a short sales cycle, and patient and persistent in a long sales cycleDevoted to lifelong professional development and embraces learning and process improvement.Technologically savvy; able to learn and utilize software and systems quicklyAble to work out of our El Cajon office daily, with occasional visits to project sites or client officesTeam player who is flexible with a can-do positive attitudePreferred
Experienced in utilizing takeoff and proposal softwareHave used Construction industry platforms such as Building Connected, ProCore, BidMail, Construct Connect, etcFamiliarity with various bid delivery methodsWorked with Foxit or BluebeamSuccessful in negotiating deals and performing contract reviewHold a minimum of an Associate’s Degree (or equivalent)Demonstrate strong customer service experience, preferably 1-2 yearsExperience using CRM to organize deals and customer records, preferably HubSpotBilingual (English / Spanish)Benefits :
