Overview

As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technician, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team by performing various imaging procedures to help physicians diagnose and treat patients. As a CT Diagnostic Radiologic Technician, you will perform computed tomography (CT) scans to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. You will utilize advanced imaging technologies and maintain high standards of patient care throughout imaging procedures. This position requires a thorough understanding of radiologic procedures, excellent technical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process to alleviate any concerns.
• Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with established protocols to produce high-quality images.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
• Adhere to safety standards, including radiation safety protocols, to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of radiologic equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Work with radiologists to obtain necessary images and address requests for additional views when necessary.
• Participate in continuous education and maintain licensure requirements as per regulatory standards.
