• Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital, Intensive Care Unit (ICU)\n
• Assignment Type : Travel RN\n
• Start Date : November 10, 2025\n
• End Date : February 9, 2026\n
• Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
• Nursing Shift : 12-hour days (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)\n
• Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
• Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
• Holiday Requirement : Holiday rotation\n
• Scrub Color : Any professional color\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990-$2130\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Illinois RN license (required for submission)\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience\n
• Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS\n
• Proven experience running codes and titrating critical drips (Levo, Neo, Propofol, Fentanyl, Precedex, Insulin, TNK, etc.)\n
• Phlebotomy and previous travel nurse experience highly preferred\n
• Meditech charting experience is a plus\n
• Must disclose any previous employment at FHN Memorial Hospital upon submission\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in an 8-bed ICU\n
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 2-3, including lower acuity patients\n
• Serve as Code Blue Command RN and deliver rapid response care\n
• Titrate and administer critical drips and medications\n
• Care for patients with sepsis, stroke, DKA, post-cath recovery, ETOH withdrawal, and other acute diagnoses\n
• Float to MedSurg, Telemetry, and Emergency Room (ER) as needed\n
• Collaborate with hospitalists and clinical support staff, utilizing advanced monitoring technology (GE Carescape, Airstrip)\n
