CT Technologist - Full Time\n\n

Schedule\n

Full Time, 10 : 30 AM - 9 : 00 PM, shifts scheduled between Monday to Friday with holiday rotation.

\n\nJob Description\n

The CT Technologist performs technical radiographic assignments, exercising complex skills, judgement, and knowledge of Radiologic Technology principles and methods. This role includes performing diagnostic radiographic studies as requested and operating portable diagnostic equipment as needed, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols per Universal Precautions.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Operate Radiographic and CT imaging equipment with accuracy.

    • \n

  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy based on procedure guidelines.

    • \n

  • Provide clear instructions to patients during procedures to alleviate stress.

    • \n

  • Ensure radiation protection for self, patients, and personnel during procedures.

    • \n

  • Demonstrate flexibility in assuming emergency call responsibilities on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

    • \n

  • Maintain competency in Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).

    • \n

  • Perform radiographic and CT studies with and / or without IV contrast enhancement.

    • \n

  • Conduct required quality control activities in accordance with NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines.

    • \n

  • Assume responsibilities involving occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Valid ARRT certification.

    • \n

  • New York State licensure.

    • \n

  • Minimum of 1 year of CT and Radiologic Technology experience.

    • \n

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    • \n

  • Experience with C-Arm is preferred.
