Senior Atlassian Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Atlassian Engineer to architect, design, implement, and operate Jira and Confluence tools.

Key Responsibilities

Lead tool migrations, upgrades, and updates while ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity

Stay current with Atlassian product updates and evaluate, install, and configure plugins and integrations

Implement security measures and develop backup and recovery strategies for Jira and Confluence

Required Qualifications

8 years of software programming experience with 5 years as an Atlassian Administrator

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Strong scripting skills in Groovy, Python, and JQL

Hands-on experience with API integrations, webhooks, and REST APIs

Located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone (US) and able to adjust working hours for various time zones
