As an Automotive Technician , you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of vehicle repairs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of various types of vehicles by providing expert services. The Automotive Technicians also advise customers on proper vehicle maintenance and selection based on their specific vehicle needs. As an Automotive Technician, you must be confident and capable of performing vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
Conducting visual inspections of the vehicle for signs of wear or damageVehicle diagnostic and repairsAdhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuriesUsing proper equipment for fluid services such as coolant, brake, & transmissionApplying lubricants to various vehicle components as neededComplete mandatory vehicle inspection forms during oil changes and repairsCommunicate vehicle repair recommendations effectively with service advisorPerform all tire services including rotates, repairs and replacementsQualifications
Personal tools requiredHigh School Diploma or Equivalent1+ years of working automotive service experienceTechnical or vocational training courses in automotive repair is beneficial and or recommended but not requiredWillingness to pursue TIA certification with company support and assistanceWillingness to learn new skills as a technician such as wheel alignments, brake system repair and suspension replacementValid drivers license and acceptable driving record requiredPhysical Fitness : Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.Manual Dexterity : Skill in handling tools and performing precise tasks with handsAttention to Detail : Precision in inspecting and repairing vehicles and ensuring personal safetyCustomer Service Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical aspects in an understandable manner is beneficial and or recommended but not requiredProblem-Solving Abilities : Aptitude for diagnosing issues and determining the best course of action for repairsTeamwork : Ability to work well in a team, contributing to a cooperative work environment to work well in a team, contributing to a cooperative work environmentCompany Overview
