JOB POSTING 1 : Import & Export Operations Associate - Level 2 (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay Rate : $21.00 / hr.

Schedule : Morning shift availability required (start time between 6 : 00 AM and 10 : 00 AM)

Status : Temporary to Permanent

Location : Onsite

About the Role

This position supports day-to-day import and export logistics activities ensuring compliant shipment handling accurate documentation and timely coordination across internal teams and transportation partners. The ideal candidate brings experience working in airline freight cold chain or other time-sensitive logistics environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process import / export shipments with accuracy and attention to compliance requirements
  • Verify all shipment paperwork and review special handling instructions
  • Prepare and organize documentation including Master Air Waybills
  • Enter and maintain shipment details in internal logistics systems
  • Support shipment booking and filing processes for export documentation as required
  • Monitor shipment status updates notes and communications requiring action
  • Track packaging inventory; request replenishment when needed
  • Ensure gel packs are pre-conditioned and stored appropriately for cold chain needs
  • Provide phone support and assist drivers with directions when necessary
  • Maintain a professional service-oriented approach during fast-paced operations

    • Requirements

  • Airline or aviation cargo experience preferred
  • Cold chain logistics exposure strongly preferred
  • Background in import / export operations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work morning shifts starting between 6 AM-10 AM
  • Weekend availability required
  • Strong multi-tasking ability and sense of urgency
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills

    • JOB POSTING 2 : Export Operations Coordinator - Level 2 (Temp-to-Hire)

    Pay Rate : $21.00 / hr.

    Schedule : Morning shift availability (6 : 00 AM-10 : 00 AM start) weekends

    Status : Temporary to Permanent

    Location : Onsite

    Position Overview

    The Export Operations Coordinator supports outbound logistics by coordinating drivers maintaining delivery schedules safeguarding product integrity and overseeing shipment activities within a regulated cold chain environment. This role requires strong attention to detail rapid response to operational changes and consistent communication with internal and external partners.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee export shipment readiness verifying documentation and compliance
  • Replenish and prepare shipments pending export
  • Manage dispatch boards and highlight special delivery requirements
  • Monitor driver activity to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
  • Track inbound / outbound flight schedules manifests and dispatch screens
  • Maintain cold chain requirements for shipments-including those on FDA hold
  • Monitor live animal shipments stored onsite and ensure proper care
  • Keep inventory of packaging and supplies; request replenishment as needed
  • Respond to gateway communications and system notifications in a timely manner
  • Escalate operational issues or complaints to management promptly
  • Coordinate with operations staff to maintain an efficient daily workflow

    • Qualifications

  • Experience supporting export or logistics operations preferred
  • Strong understanding of cold chain handling and compliance
  • Familiarity with logistics or airline cargo systems (WorldSTAR or similar) is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and operate with urgency in a time-critical environment
  • Professional communication and customer-service-focused approach
  • Comfortable navigating the airport / tristate area (preferred)
