Job Summary: Ensures that any and all environmental service duties contracted by residents are being carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures at Jenner's Pond, Inc. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of the common areas throughout the facility.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting and polishing of furniture, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen & laundry room.
• Additional cleaning to include but not limited to cleaning carpets, walls, windows, vents, high dusting, and wiping down all molding and trim in all areas throughout the facility including common areas, stairways and elevators.
• Follows all sanitation and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures all public restrooms are cleaned and stocks supplies as needed.
• Alerts supervisor to any EVS or maintenance issues.
• Immediately addresses EVS needs associated with accidents and spills.
• Assists with special events and functions, before during and after to ensure a clean and orderly appearance throughout the facility.
• Communicates appropriately to all residents, families, and co-workers.
• Provides accurate and timely information regarding completed tasks for billable services.
• Maintains cleanliness of company vehicles as required.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience: Some Environmental Services experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• PC Skills: Basic skills
• Experience: 2+ years environmental services experience in a healthcare, hospital, or retirement community setting
