Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Fargo, North Dakota (ZIP 58104) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Medical / Surgical Unit Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 23 / 2026) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (Day / Night), every other weekend and holiday Unit Size : 32 beds Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : Days 1 : 4-5, Nights 1 : 5-6 Floating : May float to other Medical / Surgical units across 3 Fargo healthcare locations Estimated Weekly Salary : $2050-$2200 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year recent Medical / Surgical RN experience in a large hospital (200 beds) Active North Dakota or Compact RN License Active BLS certification (AHA required) Experience with EPIC electronic health record documentation Ability and willingness to float to other Med / Surg units Travel nursing experience highly preferred Experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center preferred Med / Surg Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress Utilize EPIC for accurate electronic documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care Float to other Medical / Surgical units as needed across Fargo healthcare facilities Participate in unit-specific training and orientation, including trauma and orthopedic care Maintain compliance with facility policies, including badge in / out and navy blue scrubs Apply now to join our healthcare team and explore rewarding travel nursing jobs in Fargo, North Dakota!
