Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
Job Summary
Operate dragline / lattice boom crawler, on a bridge construction jobsite. Work Monday to Friday and occasional weekends, usually 40 - 50 hours per week.

Specific Duties
Assemble and disassemble equipment at the job siteInspect and maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions or damage, fill out reports documenting bothDetermine the suitability of the supporting ground and surface for loadsOperate the crane skillfully and safely in conformance with OSHA regulationsUse a drag bucket, clam bucket, vibratory driver and extractor, auger, frostballLift rebar, lumber, beams, concrete and other items associated with bridge constructionDrive piling, using a variety of devices (drop or diesel hammer)Apply safe shut-down and securing proceduresRead and understand Safety Data Sheets and container labelsIdentify and communicate safety concerns to management in a timely mannerOperate other equipment and perform other duties as assignedRequirements
Education
High School graduate or G.E.D. preferredValid drivers license3 years lattice boom experience preferredValid crane operator certificationPhysical
Valid crane operator medical examiner certificateGood corrected vision (distance at least 20 / 40, 70 field of vision) and hearing (no loss >40 decibels)
