POSITION SUMMARY : As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, communicate effectively regarding patients' clinical conditions, and respond swiftly to changes in their needs. You'll maintain a safe and therapeutic environment that respects age-specific behavioral management practices.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION : Candidates must be graduates from an accredited Nursing program with a current Connecticut Registered Nurse license. Certification in CPR is required upon hire. Additional training in PMT and de-escalation techniques must be completed within 6 months of hire.

COMPETENCIES : Strong communication skills in English, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations are necessary. You should be capable of taking swift action, including patient restraint when required.
