Job Summary :

Generations Home Care is currently seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in providing home care services to our clients in Kitsap County. We accept Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Care Aides (HCA), or anyone who is able to obtain a certificate within 200 days of hire (assistance provided). We provide training and orientation to all of our staff.

Overview : all shifts and client cases are discussed prior to ending up on our caregivers schedules : we will not schedule you without your permission. First, we will relay all HIPPA approved information via phone, text, or email : information includes; which city the client is located in, the pay, and the type of care that is expected while on shift. Then, once the shift is accepted, the client's information becomes available on our private employment app. Lastly, the caregiver would then review the client's specific Care Plan, get themselves to the shift, clock-in, walk-in and introduce themselves, then begin the care. Our office phone number is available 24 / 7 so if anything concerning occurs while on shift, the caregiver is to call the office to discuss.

Compensation and Benefits :

Hourly pay rate of $19-37, depending on geographical location, length of shift, and certified status

Paid twice monthly, on the 10th and 25th

Responsibilities :

Assist clients with daily activities, such as grooming, bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry

Assist with medical appointments and other activities that require accompaniment

Assist with mobility, transportation, and errands

Adhere to safety procedures and medical protocols

Monitor clients’ medication intake and report any irregularities

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Provide emotional support to clients and their families

Requirements :

Manage app based technology for care plan and clocking in and out

Ability to follow care plan instructions and adhere to medical protocols

Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds

CNA / HCA certification or ability to earn one within 200 days of hire

Excellent time management skills

Must be able to pass a background check

CPR / First Aid certification

Relationship development with clients and families
