- Summary :
Vaerus Aviation is seeking a skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic with a background in corporate aviation to join our team. You will serve our clients by maintaining the airworthiness, dispatch reliability and value of our managed fleet of business aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aircraft systems, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
- What You Will Do In Your Role
- Ensure that Client aircraft are maintained in a safe and airworthy condition that meets or exceeds all applicable standards and regulations
- Perform troubleshooting, inspection and diagnoses of maintenance issues involving aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Remove and / or disassemble defective parts; components and perform necessary functional and operational tests.
- Complete all necessary maintenance records and paperwork required by FAA and company policy.
- Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and inspections that conform to the standards established by the Company, regulations, and industry best practices to achieve the highest reliability goals.
- Post flight aircraft to include debriefing with flight crews.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay current with industry standards and technologies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
- Support inventory management by tracking parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for maintenance operations.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills.
- Requirements :
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
- Experience in Aircraft maintenance, preferably with corporate, military or business aviation.
- Basic set of hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment necessary to perform job assignments
- Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- What Will Put You Ahead
- 2 + years’ experience in Line Avionics / electrical troubleshooting and installation
- 5+ or more years’ experience working as an A&P
- Knowledge of and experience with maintenance of corporate aircraft
- Challenger 300, CE560XLS, Beechjet 400A, and PC-12 experience and training.
- Hold a current Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Associate degree or higher
