Prism Health North Texas is a leading Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike serving just under 20,000 patients annually across five sites in Dallas, Texas with a team of 30+ medical providers. Additionally funded through Ryan White and CDC prevention grants, PHNTX operates an advanced pharmacy services network supported by the 340B Drug Pricing Program which is vital to the organization’s care model and sustainability. The 340B Program Director is a key organizational leader, providing strategic and operational leadership for the 120+ store contract pharmacy network under the PHNTX 340B Program.

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities of the Job :

  • Provides strategic and operational leadership of the PHNTX 340B Program; oversees the implementation and accountability of all contract pharmacy relationships.
  • Ensures Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are complete, correct, current, and followed.  Remains current with, communicates, and implements policy and procedural changes as directed by HRSA Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPAIS).
  • Serves as Primary Contact (PC) for the OPAIS 340B database.
  • Leads the evaluation, growth, and accountability of the six current Third-Party Administrator relationships and agreements.
  • Assists the Chief Pharmacy Officer with organization and summarization of key performance indicators of the 340B contract pharmacy program.
  • Acts as either the primary or secondary point of contact for all HRSA and third party 340B program audits in partnership with the Chief Pharmacy Officer.
  • Collaborates with Finance, Informatics & Analytics, Legal, and other leadership to understand and optimize 340B savings potential.
  • Provides independent judgment on how to best optimize the contract pharmacy program, including evaluation and accountability of all wholesaler arrangements, purchases, and rebates.
  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of carve-in / carve-out models, Medicaid program requirements, drug exclusions, manufacturer restrictions, patient definition, and claims reporting and submission.
  • Other duties as assigned.
