We are seeking contract psychiatrists to perform forensic evaluations for an established behavioral health organization with a strong national footprint. Whether you're experienced in the forensic field or looking to break into this specialty, we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Contract Psychiatrist – Forensic Evaluations

Location : Austin, Houston, or Dallas, TX (Telehealth with limited in-person as needed)

Compensation : Highly Competitive Contract Rate

Schedule : Flexible | Independent Contractor

Position Highlights :

• Conduct forensic psychiatric evaluations, including fitness for duty, competency, and other court-ordered assessments
• Most evaluations conducted via secure telehealth; occasional in-person assessments may be required
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability
• Administrative support provided
• High compensation rates per evaluation

Requirements :

MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency

Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry

Eligible to practice in Texas with an active and unrestricted medical license

Must be able to pass FBI fingerprint background check

Interest or experience in forensic psychiatry (training provided)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable with telehealth platforms and documentation standards
