Job descriptionProven experience in test automation, specifically with UFT and Playwright. Strong programming skills in JavaScript / TypeScript. Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools (Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, or similar). Experience migrating legacy automation frameworks to modern solutions. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and rapid development cycles. Proficient with Git / GitHub for version control and collaboration. Excellent verbal and written communication; skilled in documenting processes and results. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in short-term, high-impact QA migration projects. Experience in cloud-based QA environments. Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and test automation integration.
Role : QA Engineer (Contractor)
Duration : 3 months
Scope : Will work on one project
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and understand current UFT test automation scripts.
- Design and implement equivalent automated scripts in Playwright.
- Utilize AI tools (Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot) to assist in code generation, migration, and optimization.
- Collaborate closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth migration.
- Maintain and update documentation throughout the migration process.
- Ensure migrated scripts meet functional and performance requirements.
- Provide regular progress updates and highlight blockers or dependencies.
