Job Summary
To assist in the care of patients by providing general nursing care, within the urgent care scope of practice.
Responsibilities
Perform triage of newly registered patientsDirect patients to available examination rooms and ensure rooms are set up based on patient's initial complaintCollect biological specimens and perform testing when requestedPerform wound care when and electrocardiograms when indicatedAssist physician with patient care when requestedFollow established medical protocols and proceduresOther duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience post-graduation working as a licensed Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Register Nurse in an Emergency DepartmentCurrent CPR certificationUnderstanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHATeam player, excellent verbal, and written communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possess excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently
