Exciting Opportunity at MSK : MSK is looking for a Pheresis Phlebotomist to support out blood donation team. In this role, you will assist with blood and platelet collection, as well as help to maintain a pleasant, professional, and welcoming environment within the donor room.

Role Overview :

Welcome, interview, and evaluate donors for suitability of blood and platelet donation.

Perform phlebotomy, blood collection and apheresis procedures per departmental guidelines.

Complete all data entry in Donor Room software program.

Contribute to the upkeep and safety of the donor room and assure a clean, safe, adequately supplied work area.

Key Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of one year of experience working as a Phlebotomist

Core Skills :

Proficient in customer service, creating a positive experience for donors and visitors

Attention to detail when following standard procedures around scheduling, sample collection, and documentation

Adept at building partnerships and working to meet shared goals and objectives

Additional Information :

Schedule : 8-hour flex shifts 8am - 8pm; Sunday through Friday (closed Saturdays and holidays)

Location : 1250 First Ave, New York, NY

Reporting to : Nurse Leader
