We are looking for a Business Development Executive - Facility Solutions (FS) to drive the growth of our facility services sector. In this role, you will focus on creating and developing new strategic programs related to janitorial, sanitary, cleaning, safety, and breakroom supplies. You will target a diverse customer base including large local, regional, and national businesses in sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education, government, long-term care, and manufacturing.

Your Key Responsibilities :

  • Engage with external customers through all stages : from prospecting to negotiations and implementation.
  • Communicate opportunity specifics to leadership and collaborate with support teams to secure winning proposals.
  • Create impactful customer presentations using tools like PowerPoint.
  • Negotiate contract terms and navigate the legal approval process both internally and externally.
  • Maintain a strategic account opportunity list and manage your sales pipeline effectively.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to respond to RFPs and RFQs.
  • Partner with manufacturers to generate leads and negotiate pricing for large opportunities.

Your Skills and Qualifications :

  • Ability to adapt go-to-market strategies based on customer needs and industry trends.
  • Strong organizational, time management, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Open to adopting new sales methodologies or technologies as implemented by Staples.
  • Capability to identify, qualify, and manage prospects based on defined guidelines.
  • Basic Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in selling janitorial, sanitation, cleaning supplies, and related products.
  • Proven track record with enterprise-level accounts.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong networking skills across social media and professional organizations.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
