Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse – Medical ICU (MICU) Facility : Mount Sinai Hospital Location : 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029 Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 7, 2026 Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Nights – 3x12 Hours (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Schedule : 3 shifts / week – 14 beds / unit, Avg. census : 13.6 Submittal Type : Interview Required Position Overview The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent, and quality care based on nursing theory, research, and evidence-based practice to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Mount Sinai Hospital. This role focuses on delivering care through the Relationship Centered Care model, applying critical thinking in complex patient care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The RN manages patient care under the Modified Primary Nursing model, participates in patient and family education, and supports quality and safety initiatives.
