Autodesk is hiring : Director, Editor in Chief in Portland

Position Overview :

As a Director, Editor in Chief at Autodesk, you will lead a team of Content Managers / Writers and oversee the content editorial process. You will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing content to ensure it is engaging, accurate, and on-brand. You will oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content across all channels. You will establish editorial standards and guidelines for consistency and quality. You will collaborate with teams across Worldwide Marketing to edit and publish marketing content.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a high performing content team while managing and directing work through Senior Managers and Managers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure they achieve their individual and team goals
• Oversee the creation, editing, and publication of all content, ensuring it is engaging, accurate, and on-brand
• Collaborate with the Content Insights team to analyze content performance metrics and use key metrics to make data-driven decisions and improve content effectiveness
• Establish and maintain editorial standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all content
• Oversee the development of multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and audio, to diversify content offerings

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $172,500 and $278,960. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
