Sr Manager, Travel And Events
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nations largest small business advocacy organization, looks to hire a Sr Manager, Travel and Events to join its Travel team in Washington DC. This role will be a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
The Sr Manager, Travel & Events provides strategic support to NFIBs Travel & Events Director and manages logistics, oversight, and communications for the organizations meetings and events as well as for the travel program.
The Sr Manager is directly involved in various components of meeting and event planning : site research and selection, negotiating contracts, meeting management (offsite as well as onsite), managing budgets, and creating and managing communications related to the organizations meetings and events. They will also be responsible for leading cross-functional teams.
The person in this role will be the liaison with the organizations travel management company and manage day-to-day operations of the organizations travel program, including oversight for the implementation of the policy and procedures related to NFIB travel.
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work outcomes must meet and / or exceed productivity and quality standards. Must be professional, detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills. Must also be able to work as part of a cooperative team environment, including regular and predictable attendance. Must adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures. Performs other projects as needed.
Salary Range for role - $75,000 - $95,000
Role will be hybrid minimum 2 days a week in office
