The primary purpose of your job position is to foster independence and promote socialization for each resident of the Enriched Housing Program. Assist residents with activities of daily living and housekeeping duties as indicated by the Resident's Individual Service Plan.

Essential Job Functions :

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living at all levels including Assisted, Enhanced, and Special Needs Levels of Care.
• Prepare and maintain documentation / records of services performed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties i.e. trash removal, laundry, bed making.
• Consult / report to nurse supervisor Resident's needs and any changes in Resident's status.
• Attend and participate in any mandatory meetings, in-services and additional training.
• Serve between meal and bed time snacks as needed.
• Assist the LPN Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Case Manager / Nurse Manager, and / or Assistant Executive Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating resident care services, in accordance with the current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Community.
• Participates in and receives the shift report upon reporting for duty.
• Weighs and measures residents as instructed.
• Assists with dining service during mealtime.
• Assists with Life Enrichment Activities as directed

May be requested to assist in the evacuation of Residents or perform other procedures to protect the safety of Residents, visitors and team members during emergency situations.
