Job description

Audiologists play a vital role in healthcare, conducting tests and examinations to diagnose and treat hearing disorders. This position is part of the Redding, CA clinic's team, working with service members to provide them with the best possible care.

A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.

Key responsibilities include administering and interpreting various tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment. Additionally, audiologists must evaluate test results, consider behavioral, social, educational, and medical record reviews, and state the prognosis for each patient.

This role requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency with computers and electronic medical records, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution, a current Audiologist license, and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or American Academy of Audiology (AAA). A minimum of 3 years of clinic practice experience and government clearances are also required.
