Role

Technical (HVAC) Parts Specialist

Location : 354 North St, Milford, CT 06461

We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to support the Service Support for the Technical Services team. The successful candidate will manage procurement and expediting of HVAC components from OEM resources, including parts stored at the Budderfly Distribution Center and the procurement of Preventative Maintenance (PM) materials for field technicians. A background in HVAC components as an HVAC Counter Salesperson or in a similar role is preferred and will be utilized to ensure timely and accurate parts availability.

Budderfly installs advanced technologies to save energy at customer sites. This role ensures these technologies operate efficiently and with minimal downtime by provisioning and tracking parts to restore equipment to operable, efficient condition and by supporting strong customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Expedite orders with OEMs or locate replacement parts to quickly solve internal customer problems
• Serve internal customers through the Budderfly Fulfillment process by taking orders and entering them accurately into the system
• Establish, audit, and oversee HVAC Parts operational processes to meet expectations
• Answer technical questions and research as necessary
• Act as liaison between internal teams and OEMs for research, price checks, and order placement
• Attend product knowledge meetings as required
• Retrieve orders from warehouse quickly and accurately
• Determine the status of an order at any given time
• Use order entry, computerized systems, and other technologies as required
• Oversee in-house inventory or PM parts / materials and coordinate with field technicians to maintain adequate stock
• Communicate with vendors and factory personnel regarding warranty issues, recalls, operational problems, and premature failures
• Keep store inventory stocked and remove discontinued items from service storage locations
• Direct vendors to meet service demands and customer expectations
• Maintain daily logs and records in company systems
• Travel to locations as needed to assist with part failure troubleshooting and prevention planning

Compensation

$20-$32 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
