- The North Alabama Emergency Medicine Fellowship provides a unique opportunity for Primary Care Physicians to become Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- The program is recognized by the American Academy of Emergency Physicians
Highlights :
Clinical duties include : 12-14 shifts, per month, in the EDFellows participate in didactic lecture series each Thursday, where they learn high-impact topics to prepare them for EM Boards and for future careers as EM Physicians (capable of working at any emergency room in the country)We supplement didactic lectures with longitudinal Board Prep throughout the year (so you will succeed on exam day)Curriculum integrates instruction on essential emergency medicine procedures, airway management, and ED bedside ultrasoundSpecial topics courses are scattered throughout the fellowship as well, such as an ENT skills course, ortho and splinting course, dental emergency course, and multiple ultrasound coursesUnique Fellowship Experiences :
