Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
  • Work with an adult patient population.
  • Dedicated support from 2 MAs and additional office staff.
  • Schedule

  • Weekly structure includes a mix of procedure and clinic days.
  • Anticipated volume of approximately 15 patients per day.
  • Shared beeper call coverage is required for this assignment.
  • Procedures and Cases

  • Focus on general gastroenterology cases.
  • Common procedures include upper endoscopies with biopsy.
  • ERCP and EUS experience is preferred but not required.
  • Requirements

  • Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • An active New Mexico state license is required.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications are mandatory.
