Job descriptionOngoing need beginning 06 / 09 / 2025 Several weekends and select weekdays through the year Specific dates TBD based on provider availability Preference for weekend availability Weekday shifts also considered Patient Demographics : Neonates, Adults Patient Volume / Census : patients daily in clinic; 6 8 deliveries / month Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : 40% OB, 60% GYN Full range of obstetric and gynecologic procedures No. of Beds in Department : 49 Trauma Level : Level 3 EMR System : Meditech Specialty Backup Available : Yes (Certified Nurse Midwives) Support Staff Available : Certified Nurse Midwives, RNs Reason for Coverage : Supplemental Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Credentialing Timeline : days Credentialing Requirements : 50 deliveries / 25 surgical GYN cases in last 24 months Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance covered Full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient OB / GYN procedures Deliveries Surgical GYN cases Licenses : Willing to license Board : BC / BE in Obstetrics / Gynecology Certifications : BLS, PALS Other Qualifications : EMR proficiency (Meditech preferred) Provide full scope OB and GYN care in both inpatient and outpatient settings Share call responsibilities with Certified Nurse Midwives (first call for OB) Handle consults from ER / MedSurg Participate in labor and delivery care Perform a range of GYN surgeries
