Your Next Career Opportunity Senior Tax Accountant, International
This position is responsible for assisting with the tax provision process, the preparation of income and franchise tax returns, performing the REIT compliance / testing, and reviewing the filing and preparation of tax-related issues for non-US subsidiaries and activities.
What You Will Do Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze REIT testing and compliance.
- Review various municipal and federal tax returns for foreign locations.
- Assist with various federal, state, and foreign tax audits.
- Respond to federal and state information requests and notices.
- Prepare quarterly income tax projections and quarterly estimated state tax payments.
- Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and maintenance of appropriate documentation.
- Perform research on international and US tax issues and document issues related to technical domestic and foreign tax issues.
What You'll Need Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, specialization in Tax preferred; and at least 5 years of corporate tax experience, in a publicly held company or an accounting firm. REIT, and experience working with international tax preferred.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) PreferredPhysical Demands
