Join Our Team as a Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician!

AdventHealth Lake Mary is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our dynamic psychiatry program. In this role, you will have the opportunity to diagnose and treat a diverse range of mental health issues in a supportive outpatient setting.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician, you will :

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and craft individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapy and medication management tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and primary care physicians.
  • Engage in patient education, empowering individuals to manage their mental health effectively.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in psychiatric care.

  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
  • Strong communication skills that foster collaboration and understanding.
  • Excellent medical decision-making skills to provide the best care possible.

  • Monday to Friday

    • Education and Experience Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Experience in Psychiatry (preferred)

    • Licensure and Certifications

  • Current, valid Florida Medical License
  • Board Certification
  • BLS & ACLS Certification
  • DEA License
