Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Project Manager to join a team of qualified and diverse individuals onsite in Huntsville, AL supporting the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division as a member of the Employee Experience Team. In this position, the selected candidate will have responsibility for onboarding talent and employee experience opportunities. As this work spans across a diverse set of stakeholders, this individual will be expected to collaborate effectively and partner across organizations Human Resources, Communications, Site Operations, communicate, and support change management associated with such programs for the Division.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Facilitation of Division onboarding
• Improvement of Division orientation and programmatic offerings from Pre-hire through year 1 of work with Strategic Deterrent Systems
• Document SDS Division level processes, procedures and guidance documents aligned to the Space Systems sector
• Help develop and shape additional programs / processes to improve the overall Employee Experience

These positions will have a standard work schedule of 9 / 80. The 9 / 80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range : $87,000.00 - $130,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
