Summary of Essential Job Functions
Work chair-side with Orthodontist, perform patient care, and general laboratory dutiesPreparing and taking patient moldsChanging out rubber bands, wires, and bracketsAdjusting fit of clear aligners such as InvisalignTake and process dental radiographs (x-rays)Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentTeach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatmentProvide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment proceduresAt a Glance
Certifications Required : CDA or RDA.Additional Certifications : X-ray certification is a plus.Experience : No previous experience required but must have Dental Assistant certificationJob Type : Full-timeCompensation and Schedule
Salary : Starting at $13+ depending on certifications. Additional increases for experienceBonus Pay : up to $300 additional per monthSchedule : On-site. Monday - FridayBenefits That Support You Personally and Professionally
