Are you interested in an internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in a 3-month paid intern opportunity at our site in San Diego. Through this role, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in engineering for a HealthTech company.

Your role

Work in a fast-paced R&D environment as part of a cross-functional team that is working to design and develop Intravascular Ultrasound. Through this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering for a leading Health Tech company.

• Utilizing your skills in Electrical Engineering, you will work closely with Analog, Digital, and / or Signal Processing Engineers in the Ultrasound Engineering team.
• Contribute to test plans and perform testing, technical, and root cause analysis to verify design performance at sub-system and system level.
• Model and simulate designs for analysis and performance.

You are a part of

A global, cross-functional technical team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Intravascular Ultrasound products. You are a member of the Ultrasound Engineering team.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $28.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge / skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
