You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and coordination of the organization’s U.S. and Canadian Total Rewards programs, with a focus on benefits, pension / savings, and compensation. You will ensure all programs are administered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements, while supporting alignment with overall organizational goals and objectives.
What you will be doing
- Oversee day-to-day benefits administration, including new hires, enrollments, terminations, retirements, and life events
- Manage vendor interface errors and warning reports; resolve data issues and support regular plan audits
- Partner with vendors to administer Canadian Salary Continuance (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) programs, as well as U.S. FMLA and FAMLI leave management programs
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefit and pension / savings programs
- Play a key role in coordinating the U.S. annual open enrollment process
- Support compensation planning activities, including survey participation, data analysis, policy reviews, and program updates
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on projects related to plan design, system configuration, reporting improvements, process efficiencies, and communication strategies focused on employee education and wellness
What we would like from you
3–5 years of experience in Canadian and U.S. benefits, savings programs, and / or compensationStrong proficiency in MS Excel and spreadsheet applicationsDemonstrated success working effectively in a team-based environmentFamiliarity with relevant legislation and compliance requirementsCEBS designation or other related certification considered an assetBilingual in English and Spanish preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with strong attention to detailExperience with UKG (UltiPro / Kronos) considered an assetLocation and other key details :
