The Iridium Internship Program is an opportunity for students to be a part of the Iridium teams shaping the future of satellite communications. As an Intern, you'll begin making an impact on real projects from day one! Come prepared to grow, develop, and learn alongside a team and the leaders of our company. The Iridium Internship program is a 12-week program that runs from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. During the program, interns will have the opportunity to provide valuable support to an Iridium department on a project or important work assignment. Interns will also be provided an opportunity to engage with senior leadership and fellow interns via regular engagement activities. Interns will participate in an end of internship presentation, where we ask them to develop an innovative idea that addresses opportunities in the company.

What We're Looking For :

The Iridium Legal Department is seeking a bright 1L law student who will work with attorneys and non-attorney professionals to learn about the myriad legal, regulatory, and compliance issues that arise in a high-tech, publicly traded company with a global footprint. Some of the possible practice areas you'll get exposure to will include Contracts (sales, procurement, and U.S. Government), Corporate, Employment, Finance, Regulatory (domestic and international), Corporate Governance, and Security.

What You'll Do :

Perform legal and factual research

• Organize, analyze, and validate information
• Research and analyze best practices regarding a variety of company programs and initiatives
• Review and monitor new and updated laws and regulations in relevant fields
• Prepare written reports and correspondence
• Assist with reviewing, drafting, and revising a wide variety of contracts, including commercial sales and government contracts
• Assist the legal team with updating, improving and maintaining procedures, processes, forms, and legal policy documents

Things You Must Bring to the Table :

This position directly performs under, supports, or is exposed to a U.S. government contract. To comply with the requirements of Iridium's U.S. government contracts, applicants for this position must be U.S. citizens.

Work Environment :

This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
