Product Development Engineer - CB

Seeking a Project Development Engineer to join our growing Plainfield, IL team! Candidates with previous plumbing product experience is highly desired.

Must be legally authorized to work in the US and will not require current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities :

• Identifying consumer needs, market trends, and competitor products to inform new ideas or product enhancements.
• Brainstorming new product ideas and collaborating with designers and engineers to create detailed design specifications and blueprints.
• Overseeing the creation of prototypes and conducting rigorous testing to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met (e.g., in a lab space or workshop).
• Researching and selecting appropriate materials and collaborating with external vendors or manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and production efficiency.
• Managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to keep the development process on track.
• Ensuring the product meets all relevant industry standards and regulations and generating necessary technical reports and documentation.
• Working closely with marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on product positioning, production, and launch strategies.
