Pay : $30.00 - $32.00 / hr DOE

About the Role :

C&H Services is looking for a Lead Mechanic to keep our fleet running strong. You’ll handle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on diesel engines and related systems — from light trucks to heavy-duty equipment. This role requires hands-on skill, a solid toolset, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

What You’ll Do :

• Diagnose & repair diesel engines (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems).
• Read & apply wiring diagrams, schematics (12 / 24 VDC), and manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluid checks, inspections).
• Replace and install parts as needed (brakes, sensors, components).
• Work with diesel systems : fuel injection, turbo, DEF / DPF, cooling & exhaust.
• Maintain your own toolset (up to ½" drive) and keep the shop organized.
• Complete repair orders & maintenance logs.
• Work with the Foreman and team to keep jobs on track.
• Follow all safety rules and OSHA standards.
