Welcome to a South Beach Icon, Reimagined.The purpose of this position is to support and assist Housekeeping and Laundry as assigned. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Maintain all linen rooms clean, stocked and organized according to linen needs
- Provides Laundry Manager with inventory of linen rooms at 3pm daily
- Notifies a manager promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Handle guest with excellent guest relation skills
- Attend all departmental meetings as scheduled
- Perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Is polite, friendly, and helpful Supportive Functions and Responsibilities
- Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times
- Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and / or unusual matters of significance
- Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees
- Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
- Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
- Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
- Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
- Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules
- Recycles whenever possible
- Remains current with hotel information and changes
- Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards Qualifications
- Previous Housekeeping experience an asset
- Basic English skills required
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 150 lbs
- Must be able to bend and stand for prolonged periods
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays
