The work-study student worker creates a cohesive environment for the academic department by providing support to faculty and administrative activities throughout the semester. He / she is detail oriented, completes tasks in a timely manner and remains actively engaged in the daily activities of the academic programs. The work-study student worker must respect FERPA guidelines and support student success and be eligible for FAFSA federal student aid funding.

Preferred : Qualifications :

• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Learn new skills as necessary.
• Comfortably operate Microsoft Office 365 software.
• Support students, faculty and administration in a positive, professional manner.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, attention to details and be solution oriented.
• Uphold FERPA and other confidential matters.
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week (flexible schedule).

Staffing Reason : Work Study

Primary Responsibilities :

Student worker will perform a variety of tasks including general office responsibilities of filing, organizing, copying and shredding documents; picking up mail at Sul Ross post office and other assigned duties as needed. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others. This position is security sensitive.
